Driven by a Legacy of Service and a Passion for Empowerment
My life has largely been shaped by two remarkable individuals: my father and stepdad, both of whom served as colonels in the Air Force. My father’s unwavering commitment to social justice, investigating sexual and racial discrimination, instilled in me a deep sense of privilege and responsibility.
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact of privilege and prejudice. A pivotal moment came at the tender age of four when I saw my cousin, adopted from Samoa, being bullied by children who had never encountered a “brown person”. This experience awakened me to the realities of discrimination, created many very hard questions and fueled my desire to make a positive difference in my best friend’s life.
My journey towards empowering others has been an evolution. Initially pursuing a career path in sports, it was much later in my career that I realized my true calling lay in helping those who lack access to resources and opportunities. For over two decades, I worked as a financial advisor, gaining valuable expertise that has proven instrumental in my current role as I help people successfully transition their businesses.
At Freeman Lundt, I found an organization that aligns perfectly with my values. Their mission to bring middle-market professionalism to main street businesses, empowering minority, veteran, and women-owned enterprises, resonates deeply with my commitment to equity and inclusion.
As a business broker, I serve as a treasure seeker, uncovering the unique value propositions of businesses and connecting them with the right fit ensuring a successful transition of ownership. Helping others achieve their goals is my true calling, and I find fulfillment in witnessing their journeys of success.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am actively involved in volunteering for the WA chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where I met my incredible wife, Callie. Together, our family shares a deep-rooted belief in the power of positive change and are proud to be a part of the most exciting medical story in a generation. We are closer than ever to an actual cure and we believe we will see the meaning of CF go from Cystic Fibrosis, to Cure Found in the next decade!
I am always eager to connect with business owners and individuals who share my passion for growth and empowerment. Whether you seek business guidance, networking opportunities, or simply want to share proud dad stories about our kids, I am here to connect and support.
